Species of Tube Traveller #2 - The Bulldozer

One of the less subtle horrors of The Underground ecosystem, the Bulldozer makes his way along the platforms, through the tunnels and up the escalators with absolutely no regard for other life-forms that may be in the area. Studies have shown that this may be due to their very small brains, leading them to simply push and shove their way with the most basic of instincts and awareness.

The best way to deal with Bulldozers is to simple get out of their way if you see them approaching. I have seen entire families crushed beneath its feet as it blissfully lumbers to its next destination. If you are smart, you can utilise its unrelenting bulk and pitiful awareness as a makeshift plow to get through the station with more speed and safety. Think of the little birds that ride on top of hippos and rhinoceroses.

The Bulldozer

There are of course the legends of a traveller who managed to harness one of these beasts and used it to transcend the tunnels, clearing platforms upon his hellish mount. However, no CCTV footage of this exists and my speculation is that it is simply a tale to tell around warm fires on a cold winters night.

Special Skills – Smashing, Pushing, Shoving, Ploughing, a lack of spacial awareness, a sense of           urgency, large hammy arms,

Habitat – Anywhere and Everywhere

Weaknesses – Can be used by more intelligent species at their own risk
